Hi Cindy,
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm happy to let you know that yes, there will be plenty of places where you'll be able to charge your Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) while you're in the theme parks!
I chatted with a friendly and helpful Cast Member whose sister uses an ECV, and she suggested finding a restaurant or relaxation station to charge your ECV as needed. A relaxation station is simply a building that isn't currently being used for an attraction or experience, like the building behind Starbucks at Epcot. You'll likely find other Guests in there using electrical outlets to charge their cell phones and ECVs or just enjoying a break in a quiet, cool spot!
While you are welcome to bring your own ECV if you have one, did you know that you may
rent an ECV for the day at Disney Springs or any Disney theme park or water park? They'll be available on a first come, first serve basis and will require a refundable deposit. While Disney's ECVs need to be returned before you leave the location of the rental, there are some
Featured Providers who could provide an ECV for the entire length of your stay if you'd prefer to have it available at your Resort hotel and as you travel around the different locations within the Walt Disney World Resort. Also, there's a
page on Disney's website for Guests with mobility disabilities that sorts all of the different attractions by their accessibility that I hope you'll find helpful.
Please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip, Cindy, and have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
