Ahoy, Michelle! Welcome back aboard planDisney!
I have a Placeholder Reservation myself and recently found the sailing I think I'd like to book, so I'm navigating the same waters as you right now!
To start your search, head over to the
Disney Cruise Line website and log in using the account connected to your
Placeholder Reservation. From there, navigate to the "Already Booked" tab and select "My Reservations." You'll then be able to search eligible sailings and view any Placeholder Reservation
discounts available to you. Most sailings offer a 10% discount, while a select few may offer savings of up to 25%.
As you're exploring your options, I'd like to share a tip that may help you avoid a little rough water along the way. You can continue through the booking process and browse available staterooms until you find the one that's right for your crew. Once you do, make note of the stateroom number, but resist the temptation to add it to your cart.
I've found that the website can occasionally hit a snag when it comes time to complete the conversion from a Placeholder Reservation to a full booking. In my experience, the smoothest course is often to
call Disney Cruise Line and have a Reservation Agent complete the conversion for you. If you've already placed a stateroom in your cart, it will not appear as available to the Cast Member assisting you over the phone, which can make the process a little more complicated.
Once you've found your ideal sailing and stateroom, I'd recommend calling as soon as possible so you can secure your preferred accommodations before they sail away to another Guest.
Before you know it, you'll be counting down the days until embarkation and charting a course toward your next magical adventure at sea! I hope this helps you navigate the process and keeps everything smooth sailing from reservation to vacation.
If you have any more questions, please drop anchor here at

Happy sailing!
