Ahoy there, Mary. It sounds like you’re getting ready to set sail to one of my favorite Disney Cruise Line destinations, so I’m glad you stopped by planDisney with your question first.
I can’t think of a better way to celebrate a day at
Castaway Cay than with a relaxing massage (and possibly some strawberry soft serve sandwiched between two cookies from Serenity Bay BBQ). While there is so much family fun to be had on Disney’s tropical getaway as well, unfortunately, there is not a place on the island where both your one-year-old and eight-year-old can stay together during your massage.
I’m happy to report that “
it’s a small world” nursery!" will have operating hours while the ship is docked at Castaway Cay. Once your booking window opens, you can reserve nursery times online under ‘
My Reservations’.
Your 8-year-old is going to have a blast, both
on the ship and off! If you want to enjoy adult time at Castaway Cay, kids can get checked into Scuttle’s Cove, the onshore childcare option. Once you're ready to enjoy some time in the sun together, Castaway Family Beach is a haven for fun, and make sure you don’t miss Pelican Plunge. If you prefer to lounge in the ocean, stop by Flippers & Floats to rent inner tubes or even snorkels and fins.
No matter how you decide to play, you’re sure to have a great day at Castaway Cay. If you think of other ways we can help make your Disney Cruise vacation an adventure to remember, please sail back to us here at
planDisney.
Bon voyage,
Sami
