can a placeholder be used for less then a 7day sailing?

Happy New Year, Kelly! Welcome to planDisney.

It sounds to me like you are starting your year in the best way possible, with making plans for a Disney Cruise! I’m happy to share that yes, you can use a Placeholder Reservation for sailings that are fewer than 7-nights in length. With so many incredible ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, you have A LOT of options to choose from! I recommend that you review the Onboard Offer page of the Disney Cruise Line Website, to see which dates are excluded from the discount as well as those sailing dates that have even deeper discounts to take advantage of. Then, head to the Find a Cruise page to start making your plans!

You can use your placeholder to book a sailing online (just be sure to sign into your Disney Account first) or you can call Disney Cruise Line for assistance.

Kelly, I just disembarked from the Disney Wish and I’m trying to plan when to use the Placeholder Reservation that I booked while on the ship. It’s so hard to say goodbye to Captain Minnie and Captain Mickey, but it’s much easier when I know I can sail again at a discount within the next 24 months.

If you have additional questions as you make your plans for adventure on the high seas, please cruise back to planDisney to ask. We’ll be here for you!

    Happy Planning,

    Adrianna
