Hiya Gloria!
Welcome to planDisney, and congratulations on planning your magical vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort! How excited are you to be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth? I know I would be thrilled, especially since you picked such a magical time to visit the theme parks. With so many things to keep in mind, planning can get confusing, but that's what we're here for!
I would like to say that I am so glad you are already thinking about booking your
theme park reservations! Theme park reservations are critical when it comes to visiting the theme parks, as they, along with valid theme park tickets, are required to enter the theme parks. Regarding your theme park tickets and other reservations, they may already be linked to your
My Disney Experience account, as this sometimes happens when you purchase Disney products such as tickets while logged into your account. To check if that is the case, log into your account and click "My Plans" under the "My Disney Experience" tab. Then, click on "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker," and you should be able to locate your theme park ticket. If not, you should have received a confirmation number via email upon purchasing your package. This confirmation number can be used to
link your reservations to your My Disney Experience account, both online and on the mobile app. Most of the planning process is now handled digitally, so I would not wait to link your reservations to your account!
As for your theme park reservations, you should be able to book them as soon as you have linked your tickets to your account. Currently, you should be able to book theme park reservations through January of 2024, and it looks like
availability is wide open for most of 2023. One important thing to keep in mind if you are planning to use the
Park Hopper Option is that you will need to make a theme park reservation when dining inside the parks. Indeed, dining reservations do not guarantee entry into the theme parks, especially during Park Hopping hours. Therefore, I always recommend making your theme park reservations at the same theme parks as your dining reservations or
Enchanted Extras activities so that you are sure to make it to those experiences successfully. You will then be able to view your theme park reservations in the "My Plans" section, where you also will have the option to cancel them.
I hope this was helpful, Gloria, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions or need suggestions to pass the time until your vacation, please don't hesitate to reach back out. I always say the best way to make the time go by faster is to plan every portion of your Disney vacation, and that's what we love to do!
Have a magical day,
Ariane
