Howdy Richard!
Welcome to
planDisney! You will be at the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few weeks! I know you are excited to make “Memories to Last a Lifetime!” Thank you for sharing your questions with us!
Looking at your deposit amount, I think you have a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation package booked. If you have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package, then your Disney Resort Collection Hotel is combined with your theme park tickets. If you have a vacation package and cancel it, you will receive your deposit back (as long as you cancel in time to receive a full refund), but canceling your vacation package will cancel your hotel room and theme park tickets. Once your
theme park tickets are canceled, your
Disney Park Pass Reservations will also be canceled. If you decide to cancel this reservation, you will have to re-purchase theme park tickets and then go to the Disney Park Pass Reservation System and make new Disney Park Pass Reservations. I took a moment and looked at the
Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar, and at this time, all of the theme parks are open for reservations at the beginning of September! Since Disney Park Pass Reservations can book up quickly, I recommend making your adjustments as soon as possible.
You will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during an extraordinary time! Currently, EPCOT is hosting a festival for all guests to taste cuisines from around the world! The
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is packed with yummy cuisine and entertainment that can only be found during this unique festival! Take a moment to scan through the
Foodie Guide and start making a list of all the delectable offerings you would like to enjoy!
To stay informed of everything to see and do during your visit, check out the
Disney Parks Blog! If you have any more questions as you continue to plan your visit, please come back to planDisney, Richard! We look forward to hEARing from you again!
See Ya Real Soon,
Tamela
