Is there any place within Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom to sit and let my 1.5 yo nap besides in a stroller? Id rather find somewhere quiet within the parks then have to leave and come back that way my 4.5yo can still enjoy the day.

    Hi Allison!

Is there anything more glorious than an afternoon nap? It is important for little ones to keep to their typical nap schedule while on vacation. It keeps them in good spirits for the many adventures they'll experience.

On the day you visit Magic Kingdom Park, you have several options for napping locations. Some parents take their toddlers on a long monorail ride. It's air-conditioned. Noise is typically low midday and you can stay on the monorail as long as you like. There's plenty for your four-year-old to look at along the way. I recommend you take a short monorail ride over to Disney's Contemporary Resort. The first floor is usually quiet in the early afternoon and there is an array of modular furniture across from the check-in desk that would make for a cozy resting spot. Meanwhile, your older child can enjoy cartoons. A hammock on the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a pretty awesome napping spot, too. There would be plenty to entertain your four-year-old on the beach there. It's a fun place to build sandcastles and it would take you almost no time to get back to Magic Kingdom Park when the nap is over.

There are plenty of quiet, shaded corners at Disney's Animal Kingdom where your son or daughter could rest. Some folks like to rest on the shaded seating situated throughout the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail or on the benches along the Discovery Island Trails near the Tree of Life.

Cherish every magical moment with your little ones on your upcoming trip. They grow up so fast!
