Is there a place within the Disneyland Hotels where I can cook a meal for my kids? I would rather stay at the Disney Hotels than in a far off "Good Neighbor Hotel". Even if I could use the kitchen at the hotel I would be more than able to manage.

Greetings, Aditi! I’m so excited for your upcoming vacation to the Disneyland Resort! As for places you can cook meals for your children within the Disneyland Resort Hotels, I’d recommend looking into a Signature Suite, since these are the only rooms offering Kitchenettes within the Resort. Signature Suites are offered at Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. These suites are simply stunning, but don’t always fit within everyone’s budget, so you may want to call the Disneyland Resort for availability and pricing at (714) 956-6425.

I understand that you’re hesitant to stay at a Good Neighbor Hotel due to the distance from the Resort, but I’m happy to report that most Good Neighbor Hotels are actually within one mile of the theme parks, and are definitely walkable. When filtering your search for a Good Neighbor Hotel, select “Kitchenette”, and six results should show up, including Homewood Suites by Hilton Anaheim Resort Convention Center, which is actually across the street from the Disneyland Resort.

If you are able to secure a hotel room with a Kitchenette, I’d recommend ordering groceries from Instacart or AmazonFresh for delivery to your room.

Wishing you Disney magic at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
