A very merry welcome back to planDisney, Cindy!
While not much can stop me from
Rocking Around the Christmas Tree in my pajamas this time of year, a visit to Walt Disney World Resort is a sure exception to this policy because there's nothing quite like The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of the year! With theme parks aglow in their holiday finest, Christmas trees serving as centerpieces of theme park entrances, Disney Resort hotels, and
Disney Springs, and seasonal food offerings, there's no such thing as a
Blue Christmas at Walt Disney World Resort (unless, of course, you're in Pandora - the World of Avatar).
Speaking of seasonal food offerings, the holiday-inspired flavors were one of the highlights of my evening spent at Disney Jollywood Nights last week. Although I didn't try the Sugar Cookie Martini, the Holiday Cheer was so delightful I returned to order a second. One of the things that makes the food and beverage offerings of
Disney Jollywood Nights and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party so special is their limited availability, so if you're hoping to try a Sugar Cookie Martini, Cindy, you'll need to purchase a ticket to Disney Jollywood Nights as it is an event-exclusive menu item. Happily, there are
still tickets available during your visit, so experiencing the sights (such as the figure skating spectacular,
Glisten!), sounds (the Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club), and tastes (check out the
Disney Eats: Foodie Guide for a full list) of this specially-ticketed event is still
on the table.
While the Sugar Cookie Martini is exclusively available at Disney Jollywood Nights, you'll still be able to enjoy other seasonal beverages even if you're unable to attend.
Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar in Disney Springs magically transforms into
Jock Lindsey's Holiday Bar to celebrate the season, and various Disney Resort hotel lounges are currently offering a Gingerbread Martini and Holiday Fruitcake Old Fashioned. For a complete list of seasonal menu offerings and locations, you'll want to head on over to the Disney Parks Blog where you'll find the
2024 Disney Eats: Walt Disney World Resort Holiday Foodie Guide.
I
ho-ho-hope this was helpful, Cindy, and that your upcoming vacation is filled with seasonal sips and tasty treats. If you're in need of additional recommendations, feel free to
jingle back by.
I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Merry Thoughts,
Lizzie
