Welcome to planDisney Ashley!
I hope we can find some ideas to make your vacation magical for your entire family! To start, please read through this
guide for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities. I think you will find it quite helpful.
But specifically with your question....Here are some ideas of where you can watch a parade in the Magic Kingdom without having to be in the crowds:
-Book a
Dining Reservation at either
Crystal Palace or the Plaza Restaurant during parade times. While the view from the windows is not perfect, you will avoid the crowded streets and it will not be as loud.
- Pop into the
Emporium on Main Street. Again, the view will be a bit blocked by other guests, but many of the parade floats are quite tall so you can see some of your favorite Disney pals.
For
Disney Enchantment at the Magic Kingdom, you might also try the restaurant options. Again, not perfect views, but the sound will not be as loud. Also, try watching the fireworks from Tomorrowland near Space Mountain. You will have a wonderful view and the sound will not be as intense from this area. There are several gift shops in this area, so you will have a place to duck into if needed.
For a great view of the fireworks from afar, hop on the monorail to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. From the beach, you will have one my very favorite views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks. The music is piped in, but not very loud so hopefully will work for all of your family.
I hope you find the perfect location suitable for your family to enjoy a magical evening in Walt Disney World!
