Is there a place to watch fireworks outside of Disney World?

Hi, Brooke!  I am guessing you are asking if you can watch fireworks without going into one of the theme parks?  If so, the answer is yes!  One of my favorite places to catch the Magic Kingdom fireworks is from the beach of the Polynesian Resort.  The music is piped in and it is a truly magical way to spend an evening!    If you are looking for a romantic evening, schedule dinner at California Grill (Contemporary Resort) during fireworks.  The view of the Magic Kingdom from this restaurant is unforgettable!

You might catch a random glimpse of fireworks from Epcot if you are on the Boardwalk, but these quick views will certainly not replace watching Illuminations up close at the World Showcase Lagoon.

I hope this is what you are looking for - if not, please let me know!   Enjoy all the nighttime events taking place throughout Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
