Is there a place to store our grandbaby's car seat while visiting the park?

Hello Karen! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Visiting Walt Disney World Resort with your grandchildren is sure to be an Endlessly Magical experience that will remind you of when you vacationed with your own children. After every Magical "first time" I experience with my own children, I store it away and anxiously await when I may relive them all again with my grandchildren.

If you are using Complimentary Resort Transportation, please note that since the buses have limited seat belts (if any) on board, the car seat will not be able to be properly secured. Young children may ride in a parents lap or arms while traveling on Complimentary Resort Transportation.

Having said that, the best place to store a car seat would be at the Locker Rentals located at the Main Gates of Each of the 4 Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. There are two sizes of lockers:
    • Small - 11" X 9" x 16" at a cost of $8 per day plus a $5 key deposit; and,
    • Large - 17.5" x 12" x 16" at a cost of $10 per day plus a $5 key deposit.
These All-Day-Access lockers are available in both sizes at Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Magic Kingdom only has the smaller option of lockers available to rent.

I recommend that you measure the car seat before traveling to ensure that it will fit the lockers.

    Have a Magical Visit!
