We have a place to stay and hope to eat meals at home when possible, but are there meals that we should plan to have at the park-(lunch)? Any meal events that are a must (Character dinners, etc)? Can you bring your own snacks/bagged lunch into the park?

    Hi, there!

Thanks so much for sending me more great questions, Lindsay. I'm so happy to help you plan a magical vacation!

One of my favorite things about the Walt Disney World Resort is the FOOD. Did you know there are over 400 dining experiences available? There's something for every palate and budget. I have some great dining suggestions for you!

There are lots of Quick-Service dining options available in the theme parks and at Disney Springs. These casual dining locations offer delicious food and, you guessed it - quick service! A few of my favorites include Casey's Corner at Magic Kingdom Park, Woody's Lunch Box at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Satu'li Canteen at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. A must-do for my family is breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant. This unique restaurant accepts reservations, so we book an early morning breakfast there before official park opening. This gives us a little extra time in Fantasyland, which is surely the most magical place to begin a pixie-dusted day! To save precious time in the theme parks, be sure to place mobile food and beverage orders on the My Disney Experience mobile app.

I highly recommend booking at least one Character Dining Experience during your stay. These fantastic meals combine two of my favorite things - amazing food and the fabulous company of beloved Disney characters! What could be better? My family especially loves Chef Mickey's, Tusker House Restaurant, and The Crystal Palace.

I'm pleased to tell you that you are most welcome to take snacks, meals, and beverages into the theme parks. It's a a great way to save some money!

Thanks for stopping by, Lindsay. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
