Hi, there!
Terri, there's little better than experiencing the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort with little ones in tow. The joy on their sweet faces is just contagious!
As a mom of three, I know how important it is to take the time to rest during an adventure-filled day in the theme parks. We always return to our Disney Resort hotel in the afternoon to swim and take a nap before going back to the theme parks in the evening, but if that's not an option for you, I have some great suggestions for cool and quiet places that are perfect for a break!
There's a conveniently located
Baby Care Center in each of the four theme parks. Each is equipped with a changing room, kitchen, on-site shop, feeding area, and private nursing room. They each also feature a living-room area with comfortable seating. The living-room area isn't private, but it is air-conditioned and relatively quiet.
My kiddos have fallen asleep during indoor shows like Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress or Finding Nemo - The Musical. It doesn't take long for the dark theaters and cool air to send them off to Disney-dreamland! Even if your little ones just need a spot to rest their tired little legs, indoor shows are the perfect place to visit. My family's absolute favorite is Festival of the Lion King in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park!
My little ones have also taken many a nap in our stroller at the Walt Disney World Resort. We always take our City Mini Double Stroller; the seats recline completely and the extra large shades are ideal. I can shop in the nicely air-conditioned stores while they rest comfortably!
Terri, I love chatting about
little ones and the Walt Disney World Resort, so please let me know if you have any other questions!
