Hey there, Angela!
Welcome to planDisney! I totally understand wanting to make sure you don't miss any news for upcoming events and activities at the Disney Parks. Let's make sure every piece of pixie-dusted news makes it to you!
As far as notifications for specific events at Disney Parks, there aren't any email alert options that are only for one event. But I've got two ways for you to make sure that you're getting magical news fast! First, take a look at your email preferences in your Disney account:
- Go to the Disneyland website and click "My Disneyland" in the menu bar toward the top right.
- Once you've signed in, click "Communication Preferences" to open a window with your personal information.
- Scroll down until you see "Email Preferences" and click the link to manage your email subscriptions, which will open a new webpage.
- The subscription page may ask you to sign in again. No worries! Enter your regular Disney account information.
- From here, you can check a box for each Disney topic you're interested in. I highly recommend checking both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort if you visit both coasts!
By opting in for email communications, you'll get notified about all the latest happenings in the parks. Make sure your email account is also sending your magic mail to the right inbox, not a spam folder!
The
Disney Parks Blog is also where I check for information about events in the parks. You'll find everything you need to know for special events, but you'll also be the first to
see new merchandise,
meet new animals at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, and even learn
cool behind-the-scenes details about the parks.
My last newsworthy tip is to follow official Disney accounts on social media. You'll find official accounts for
Disney,
Walt Disney World Resort, and
Disneyland Resort on Instagram, and they often post news about upcoming events...including
Disneyland After Dark! The site doesn't have any details for 2024 events just yet, so now is the perfect time to start following the Disney Parks Blog for updates.
Walt Disney World Resort hasn't hosted a Sweethearts Nite like Disneyland Park does, but they do offer
Disney After Hours events! If you're curious about those opportunities then you should totally send a question to one of our
planDisney Walt Disney World Resort specialists, they would be happy to help.
Angela, I hope your social media feed and your email inbox will both bring you some extra happy thoughts soon!
If you have more questions you're also welcome to send a note to my inbox.Keep moving forward!
