Hiya, Thomas! Welcome back to planDisney. I am glad you breezed by with your question as you plan a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few weeks.
You can select a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel based on the travel dates, resort and room type you want. If you are only making a reservation for a resort room, a deposit is required to hold it for you. The current resort policy will allow you to cancel this reservation up to 5 days before your trip. You will see the exact date on the site when you add the reservation to your cart. I always note this date, just in case.
If you choose to do a package, which is a resort reservation that includes options like theme park tickets and the
Disney Dining Plan, payment is required in full 30 days before your trip and there is a $200 fee if you cancel within 3 to 29 days of your arrival. With your trip in less than a month, I would reserve the resort stay and then purchase tickets separately if you are not yet ready to commit to a reservation.
If you book a room-only resort reservation, you can purchase
theme park tickets before your trip or when you arrive at
Walt Disney World Resort.
May is a beautiful time to visit Walt Disney World.
EPCOT will still be celebrating the splendor of nature with the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival through May 27. The topiaries are stunning and the food offerings in the
outdoor kitchens are delicious!
Please come back to
planDisney with any other questions. We are here for you!
Thinking of the happiest things!
