Hello AnnMarie and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Thanks for bringing your question to us. Strollers can go a long way in alleviating child fatigue while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. The ability to stow backpacks and purchases also goes a long way in alleviating adult fatigue!
The short answer is: wagons are
not allowed at the Walt Disney World Resort, and strollers must not be more than 31'' wide and 52'' long. However, we have had children up to eight-years-old in
Disney's rental strollers. With the size of the parks, our girls were often in need of a ride by the end of a long day. Another option is to rent a stroller from one of Disney's preferred vendors. Some of the strollers they carry can comfortably handle a child up to 48" tall and up to 70 pounds. The advantage of renting from an off-site vendor is the ability to take the stroller out of the parks. After carrying a large 6-year-old boy across the
Epcot parking lot, we know the value of this option!
I hope this helps with your planning. If you have more questions, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel- we love to help!
See ya real soon,
Anne
