Is there a place we can get a PCR test for to travel back to our country

    Hiya Jennifer!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for including us in your planning process! I always get excited when I see fellow Canadians in our queue, and I completely understand where you are coming from with this question. Indeed, navigating COVID-19 travelling restrictions can be challenging, so let's talk about where you can get tested.

Unfortunately, Disney does not offer COVID-19 testing at this time. Thankfully, a few other options will allow you to get tested before travelling back to Canada. First, a quick Google search should show you which drugstores or clinics offer COVID-19 tests. Since I do not usually rent a car on my Disney vacations, I have either used rideshare services or simply booked my appointment at a testing site at the airport to make it more convenient. Second, you can also order a COVID-19 testing kit to bring with you on your vacation. Otherwise, make sure to keep an eye on the Government of Canada website for the most up-to-date information on travelling requirements.

Although testing may not be available on the Walt Disney World Resort property, I can assure you that the health and safety of Guests are Disney's top priority! Whenever I think of safety at the Walt Disney World Resort, I always remember when I stayed at a Disney Resort hotel during a hurricane. Not only did I witness first-hand the commitment of Cast Members to Guest safety, but I also saw many local Floridians come and stay at the same Resort. I always think of this story as a true testimony to how safe Guests feel at the Walt Disney World Resort. In the context of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, enhanced cleaning measures are still being used, and offerings are still slowly returning in a phased reopening approach. Furthermore, hand sanitizer is also readily available throughout the theme parks, and face masks can be purchased in vending machines should you need one. Lastly, theme park reservations are still required to visit the theme parks, which helps better control the crowds and flow of people.

I hope this was helpful, Jennifer, and that you will have the best vacation on your next Walt Disney World Resort trip. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach back out. Ever wonder if we can answer your question or not? The answer is always: "Yes, we Can-ada!"

    Have a magical day,
