Hello moms! Is there a place I can park my travel trailer while I explore the parks. I am not staying at Fort Wilderness but staying at a KOA campground off-property. Can I park at Disney Springs or Fort Wilderness if I'm not staying there?

Hello there, David, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by to see us with your question. Let's help you find a spot for your rig so you can explore the Walt Disney World Resort!

Whether you arrive by car, minivan, RV, or magic carpet, you'll need to park your ride somewhere when hitting the Theme Parks at Walt Disney World. Fortunately, there's a spot for just about every one of them (though magic carpets don't take up much space, to be honest)! Parking in the Theme Park lots is categorized into cars/motorcycles and oversized vehicles, which includes "shuttle, limo, camper trailer, RV, bus, or tractor trailer." You'll pay a few dollars more for daily parking, but rest assured you can park your travel trailer in the lot.

Much of Disney Springs parking is in garages, but there is a large surface lot near the West Side you can try if you want to do a little shopping and dining there.

I hope this helps you plan your day at the Walt Disney World Resort, David. Please feel free to park it right back here if you have any other questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
