Hi Catherine!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. It sounds like you have a little princess in your life with dreams of a magical carriage ride!
While there's typically not a royal carriage on display in Magic Kingdom Park, sometimes one can be found at special events such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. At those times, the carriage will be available for photo ops, but guests will not be able to get inside or ride in it.
If you want your little Cinderella to have the royal treatment, I've got an idea that may help fulfill her wishes. First, you could make a reservation at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for your little princess to enjoy a head-to-toe transformation including a fancy hairstyle, make-up, nail color and a Disney princess costume. There are two locations at Walt Disney World Resort: inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park, and also at Disney Springs Marketplace. Fairy Godmothers-in-training can create a perfect "princess" look for your little one, and there are several makeover packages available!
Once her transformation is complete, you can head over to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground or Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside for a
Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride! Your little royal can wave to her subjects as you travel along your choice of two scenic routes. Carriage rides cost $45 and last around 25 minutes. Reservations are recommended and can be made up to 180 days in advance by calling (407) 939-7529. During the month of December, the carriages transform into beautiful holiday sleighs with lights and garland! Carriages fit up to 4 adults (or 2 adults and 3 small children).
Hope this helps - have a magical day! - Diane W.
