Meeting your favorite Character is one of the most magical experiences in the parks. Many Characters wander through the parks at the Disneyland Resort, while others have fixed spots where they do meetings. The
Disneyland mobile app is a great place to start looking for those Characters. On the map, tap the "Characters" tab at the top to bring up a list of all Characters currently in the parks. This will change from day to day and is subject to change and cancellation. So while you may not see Ariel in the map today, you might get lucky enough to meet her this summer. Just pull up the app and check that list after you've scanned into the park for the day.
Another great way to meet Characters in a relaxed setting is
Character Dining Experiences. There's a really special
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures available to book at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This 3-course meal is an elegant experience enhanced by the beautiful princesses who visit your table and are available to sign autograph books and take pictures. My whole family was thrilled with our meal and the interactions with our favorite princesses. While availability is not guaranteed and princess appearances vary, we've met Ariel previously at breakfast. You might get to meet her too!
If you're interested in booking Character Dining or any other Table Service offerings, you can typically do so about 60 days in advance of your preferred date. Set a reminder for yourself on your mobile device for the best chance to secure your perfect dining location and time.
