Hi! Is there a place where I can find the typical time needed for an activity/area, such as these in Fantasyland: The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Belle- Enchanted Tales, Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid, and Ariel at Her Grotto? Thanks

Hey there, Julie! Your question is the sign of a truly detailed planner! Knowing the approximate wait times for attractions and experiences in the Disney Parks is a great planning strategy! I’m happy to share a tip with you regarding how to know wait times!

The magic all begins right at your fingertips! If you download the My Disney Experience app, you will have access to the wait times for all attractions and experiences in all four of the Disney Parks! When you enter the My Disney Experience app, go to the home screen (house icon). Once you arrive there, you should see little icons for all four of the Disney Parks – Cinderella Castle (Magic Kindgom Park), Spaceship Earth (EPCOT), The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (Disney’s Hollywood Studios), and The Tree of Life (Disney’s Animal Kingdom). Tap on the icon for the park you’re interested in seeing. Based upon your question, it sounds like you’re most interested in seeing wait times for attractions and character experiences in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park, so you would tap on the Cinderella Castle icon. The icon you tap will take on some color and be underlined while the other icons will be faded. Next (here comes the magic), tap on the “pin” (it looks like an upside-down water drop) at the bottom of the screen. Once you do that, you should see a list of attractions with wait times appear!

Another option using the My Disney Experience app is to go to the search icon (magnifying glass) at the bottom of your screen. When you tap on the search icon, enter “Wait Times” in the search bar. Then “tap” where it says “filter” and select the park for which you want to view wait times and tap “Apply.”

You can begin your planning now! While wait times are always subject to change based upon the park you’re visiting, as well as the time of year of your visit, you can view wait times for all attractions and experiences right from the comfort of your home just by using the My Disney Experience app! You can start to get a good idea of wait times by occasionally checking them on the app. You can factor those wait times into your planning! Of course, once you arrive to the park you can check wait times the same way by using the app!

Finally, Julie, don't forget that you can also summon the power of Disney Genie to help you plan your day! This feature on the app will actually help you to plan your day based upon the attractions that you most want to visit! Disney Genie service is complimentary and is available on your My Disney Experience app! In order to begin using Disney Genie service you'll just need to have a valid theme park admission linked to your account. Once you do that, let the magic of planning begin!

    Happy planning!
