Is there a place on the Disney World website that outlines FastPass+ activities and tiers to make pre-planning easier? I seem to only find vague descriptions of FastPass+ on website but not activities that use it.”

Hello, Tracy! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! First introduced in late 1999, FastPass+ has transformed the way Guests plan their vacations at Walt Disney World Resort with its virtual queuing system. Being able to skip the standby line for select attractions, shows, and Character Greetings means more time for things like Dole Whips and Churros! 

At Magic Kingdom Park, you can make up to three FastPass+ selections in advance at any of the participating attractions. Check the Walt Disney World website, and filter your search by theme park to view them all. The three other theme parks utilize a tiering structure for their FastPass+ system, so you may pick one attraction from the FastPass+ Tier 1 category and two from the FastPass+ Tier 2 group. Following is the current list of tiered attractions and entertainment options (note that this list is subject to change).

Epcot:
Tier 1: Frozen Ever After, Soarin' Around the World, Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot, and Test Track
Tier 2: Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival, Journey Into Imagination with Figment, Living with the Land, Mission: SPACE, Spaceship Earth, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, and Turtle Talk with Crush
* IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth will end it's run on September 30, so it remains unknown whether the new show will have a FastPass+ option.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Tier 1: Avatar Flight of Passage, Na'vi River Journey.
Tier 2: DINOSAUR, Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, Festival of the Lion King, Finding Nemo - The Musical, It's Tough to be a Bug!, Kali River Rapids, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Meet Favorite Disney Pals at Adventurers Outpost, The Animation Experience at Conservation Station, Primeval Whirl, UP! A Great Bird Adventure, and Rivers of Light.

Disney's Hollywood Studios
Tier 1:  The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock' n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Alien Swirling Saucers, Slinky Dog Dash, and Toy Story Mania!
Tier 2: Disney Junior - Live on Stage!, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!, Muppet*Vision 3D, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, and Fantasmic!
*Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run will not be a part of FastPass+ when it opens
