Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennie!
My Mouseketeers love to spend a few hours at
Disney Springs – shopping, dining, exploring, and snacking! We look forward to at least one stop at Disney Springs with every visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
With a toddler, I recommend visiting the Marketplace area. There, you’ll find the
Marketplace Train Express, which is always a preschooler favorite. There’s also a carousel in that area, and the open set up in this area makes it easy for little ones to blow off some steam. You'll also find a splash pad – I see you’re visiting in January, so the temperature may not cooperate, but you might want to pack a swimsuit or change of clothes if you think this might be of interest. My kids LOVED
Disney splash pads when they were little, and we have some great memories from those splash-tastic times.
Your toddler would probably also love the play area at
The LEGO Store. There are big play tables with lots of LEGO pieces, and it’s so fun to create and build freely. There are also incredible LEGO sculptures inside and around the store, which are always fun to see and take some photos with.
There are stages set up throughout Disney Springs for entertainment, and it’s always fun to stop and enjoy some musical entertainment and even have a dance party. There are several stages set up throughout Disney Springs; the
Marketplace Stage is the main stage. I love seeing little ones rockin’ out to some tunes in Disney Springs!
Jennie, in my experience, Disney Springs is a great place to let your little one have some freedom. The walkways are wide and there are lots of spots where mama can grab a coffee and sit for a few minutes while kiddos run around. Plus, you can find lots of delicious treats to enjoy! My kids love
Sprinkles Cupcakes, and they even have a cupcake ATM!
Have a fantastic time at Disney Springs with your little one!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
