Is the place in Disney where it looks just like a street with bars that each one has a different theme. One has a revolving dance floor?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, June!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! I hope you are ready for enchanting moments, unforgettable snacks, and enough joy to fill the night sky, just like Happily Ever After. Whether you’re chasing thrills on Space Mountain or soaking up the sun at Typhoon Lagoon, get ready—because the MAGIC is calling, and you get to answer! Just know we can't wait to "See You REAL Soon!"

Oh my goodness—you just unlocked a piece of Disney nightlife history that only the coolest Disney fans remember! What you're thinking of is none other than Pleasure Island, the legendary street of themed bars and clubs that once lit up the night at Downtown Disney (now Disney Springs). It was like stepping into an adults-only Disney playground, with each venue offering something wildly different—from retro jams to futuristic vibes. One of the most iconic spots was Mannequins Dance Palace, famous for its high-energy music, dazzling lights, and yes, a revolving dance floor that literally spun under your feet while you danced the night away. I mean, how epic is that?

Sadly, Pleasure Island partied its last party in 2008, and the area has since transformed into the more family-friendly Disney Springs we know today. But don’t worry—there’s still plenty of Disney fun for grown-ups looking for a fantastical night out! You can catch live music and amazing eats at House of Blues, sip on creative cocktails at The Edison with its steampunk vibe, or share appetizers and laughs at Wine Bar George. If themed fun is your thing, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar serves up aviation-themed drinks in a setting straight out of an Indiana Jones adventure. Want something sweet to top it all off? Gideon’s Bakehouse delivers half-pound cookies with a side of spooky cool. Disney Springs may not have a spinning dance floor anymore, but it’s still spinning with excitement, flavor, and fantastic memories waiting to be made!

I sure hope you have the most AH-mazing time! As you continue to plan, make sure you check out the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information regarding all things Disney. Mickey and his pals have some incredible surprises planned, and we don't want you to miss any of the excitement!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
