    Is there any place on Disney that has a grocery store?

    Food and Disney are two of my favorite topics.

    There is no real grocery store located on Walt Disney World property, but there are a few grocery stores in the area. The closest one I know of is called Goodings, and it is located just off Hotel Plaza Boulevard, near Downtown Disney. If you don't have a car with you, you will need to take a taxi to get to Goodings. However, personally speaking, without a car, I would not spend the money on taxi fare (nor spend vacation time at the grocery store). If you decide to take a taxi to Goodings, your taxi driver or resort will almost certainly know how to get there.

    There are a couple of other options to consider. First, depending on what items you may need, you may be able to satisfy your food shopping needs on property. I don't know where you are staying, but the Disney Vacation Club resorts, such as Animal Kingdom Lodge and Saratoga Springs, have mini-convenience stores in or near their gift shops where you can find a small selection of basic food items such as milk, eggs, canned goods, juice, bread, soda, etc. While Disney bus transportation to these locations is free, this option may take a lot of time out of your day since you may have to transfer buses to get to these resorts. Also, the food selection is limited.

    A popular option is to arrange for a grocery delivery to your resort. Check out gardengrocer.com, an online grocery store that will deliver your order directly to your resort. You can even place an order before you leave for Disney World and arrange for the food to be delivered after you arrive at the resort.
