Is there a place for my daughter and I to shower and dry my hair while using the Contemporary Resort pool? We have a late flight and want to enjoy the pool before leaving.

Hi, Laurel! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You’ll be happy to hear that there are shower facilities next to the main pool at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. In these facilities, you’ll find wall-mounted body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers, and you should find a wall-mounted hair dryer, too. You’ll also find towels at the pool, so there’s no need to stress about bringing your own.

Bell services will be happy to hold your luggage between the time you check out and the time you leave, but make sure you pack a small bag to take to the pool with your changes of clothes. I would also recommend bringing some flip flops and a couple of gallon-sized Ziploc bags for your wet bathing suits. And don’t forget the sunscreen!

So go ahead and enjoy your time at one of the two pools available at Disney’s Contemporary Resort before heading to the airport. Relax in the hot tub, grab some lunch at The Sand Bar and maybe rent a private cabana (equipped with a TV, stocked mini fridge and complimentary sunscreen) to make the final day of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation one to remember.

Enjoy your visit, Laurel, and please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help you plan.
