    Is there a place at the Caribbean Beach Resort where I can rent a car If I need to? Also is the resort good for family and kids?

    We rented a car from the Dolphin Resort near Epcot. After our first  morning of touring, my husband took a bus to the Dolphin while my son and I returned to our hotel. He said it simple and easy. He even got back to the hotel prior to us. The Valet drove around the rental car and he was on his way! We returned the car to the same location on the day prior to our departure. I would highly recommend renting from this location. It was also less expensive than a rental at the airport.

    The Caribbean Beach Resort is excellent for families with children. Just remember that the resort is quite large so some guests prefer to book a preferred room at an additional cost. These rooms are closer to the resort's amenities such as the themed pool and restaurants at Old Port Royale.

    Our family stayed in the Jamaica section which was a beautiful walk across two nice bridges and a lovely island. However after a long day in the park, it took a little extra effort to walk to the food court to get drinks in our refillable mugs.

    The beaches, playgrounds, courtyards, quiet pools and theme pool are very nice. Currently CBR's main pool is undergoing renovation which is scheduled to be completed this Fall.
