Hi, Sheri! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
At the end of a busy
Walt Disney World Resort vacation day, my husband and I often like to unwind with a cold beer or a glass of wine back at our
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room. It would be my pleasure to help you find somewhere to grab some vino to-go during your visit to
Disney Springs.
I would suggest that any wine enthusiast stops by
Wine Bar George when visiting Disney Springs. Wine Bar George has a selection of over 140 wines sold by the bottle, glass, or ounce and a super knowledgable, yet completely down-to-earth and approachable, staff to help you with your selection. If you can fit it into your itinerary and you're able to book a
dining reservation, I highly recommend enjoying a meal at Wine Bar George. During a recent visit, I had the opportunity to have dinner at Wine Bar George with some of my dear friends from the planDisney Panel, and it was amazing! Along with our wine, we shared some delicious small plates such as the Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites, Burrata, and Saganaki on Fire. It was one of my favorite meals I ever had at Walt Disney World Resort.
If you order a bottle of wine with your meal at Wine Bar George and have any leftover, your server will be happy to re-cork the bottle for you to take back to your resort hotel room with you. If you can't fit a meal at Wine Bar George into your schedule, I am happy to tell you that currently, you can order their full food and beverage menu to-go. Another great option that you might want to look into is
The Basket at Wine Bar George. This Quick-Service pick-up window is located beneath the terrace at Wine Bar George. The Basket at Wine Bar George offers picnic-style provisions and many bites and snacks that can be taken with you to enjoy at any Walt Disney World Resort location. There is also a wide variety of adult beverages to grab-and-go.
ChEARs to a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Samantha
