Hiya, Debra! Welcome back to planDisney.
I just made dining reservations for my upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and I’m now dreaming happy dreams of all the delicious things I’m going to eat. I am counting down the days to tasting the coconut DOLE Whip at
Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom Park – I’m singing “the birds sing words and the Robyns
swoon outside the
Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Room!”
Let’s talk about your
mobile order dining strategy. Currently, if you are not a registered Guest at a particular Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you may only visit if you have a confirmed
Table-Service dining reservation. This is for health and safety reasons as part of the phased reopening. I have heard of Guests attempting this with mixed results; ultimately, it’s at the discretion of the security Cast Member at the gate to the resort hotel. Resorts located within walking distance of a theme park are likely to be more strict about this policy to avoid crowding.
Debra, I see you are planning a November visit, so my advice is to keep an eye on the
Resort Hotels Know Before You Go webpage, as any updates will be posted there. The
Disney Parks Blog is also a great source for keeping up to date with news about the phased reopening. You could also check in with a Cast Member at your resort hotel when you arrive – they always have the most current information and are friendly and helpful.
As you count down the days to your visit, your friends here at planDisney are here to help! Did you know we are sharing our tips and experiences on Instagram at @planDisneyPanel?
