Hey Maria!
A warm welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. As a nursing and pumping mom myself, I am so excited to answer your excellent question.
Maria, you will be happy to know that the
Baby Care Centers are perfect for pumping breast-milk. In fact, the private rooms that are labeled for “nursing mothers” are ideal for pumping mothers as well! Each rocker, recliner or seat has an outlet directly in front of it. In fact, last time I used a nursing room to nurse my little Mouseketeer, there were an equal amount of pumping mothers as there were mothers nursing in the room.
Additionally, right outside of each nursing room is an area where you can wash, sanitize and dry your pump’s parts. The sink areas always have dish soap and paper towels readily available. There are also microwaves in which to warm milk or sanitize pump parts.
Disney Mom Tip: I highly suggest carrying some Medela Quick Clean Micro-Steam microwave bags in which to quickly “zap” any pesky germs! This will allow you to enjoy the remainder of your day without worrying about sanitizing bottles and pump parts once you return to your hotel room.
Maria, if you have any additional questions about traveling “the World” with little ones, please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again. We are always here to help you plan the practically perfect Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
With a Sprinkling of Pixie Dust,
