Welcome, Matthew! You’ve reached our special command post, where Disney planning questions are always mission-ready.
First, let’s check mission control and make sure your theme park tickets are ready for takeoff. Since you've purchased a vacation package with a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, your theme park tickets should already be in your account. You do not have to check into your hotel before you can access them. To verify on the
My Disney Experience mobile app, click the three horizontal lines (☰) in the bottom right-hand corner, select the "My Tickets & Passes" tile, and you should be able to see them there. On your computer, select "
My Plans and Tickets" from the My Disney Experience menu, scroll down until you see "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets," click on "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" underneath that heading, and any tickets connected to your account should be listed there. If you run into any issues, you can
reach out to a friendly Cast Member at the resort.
With your tickets ready for launch, there’s one more tool that can make your arrival at your resort nice and smooth. Did you know you don't have to check into your resort in person? You can do it all
through the mobile app or on the Disney World website ahead of your trip. Through the mobile app, the "Start Check-In" option can usually be found on the home screen of the app or by going to the main menu (after clicking that ever-important ☰ symbol), scrolling a little bit, and selecting "Hotel Reservations." Click the "Start Check-In" link and follow the prompts. You'll also want to enable push notifications, and I like to enable text notifications as well. This way, once your hotel room is ready, you're notified right away and can go straight to your room when you're ready. Of course, if you have any questions or prefer to do this in person, that option is still available at the
Front Desk.
Space Ranger, your timing couldn't be better. Not only will the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival be in bloom until June 1, 2026, but the classic attraction
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin is
projected to reopen after its reimagining on April 8, 2026. I can't wait to see the updated effects and commemorate my ride with my scores printed on the
Disney PhotoPass photo (currently included in
Memory Maker or as part of a
Lightning Lane Multi Pass purchase). Time to blast off and take aim at Zurg!
Matthew, enjoy your split stay at the resort, and I hope your Walt Disney World mission is a successful one. If you have any other questions,
I’ll be here to help you journey to infinity and beyond!
Until your next mission,
Matt
