Are the pizza and entree sauces at Via Napoli smooth or chunky? My husband loves all foods, except tomatoes, and was he was disappointed with our last meal there. Kids love the VN pizza and want to eat there again. Can my husband request a smooth sauce?

    Hello Megan,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Your question has me stumped! I’ve eaten at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria at Epcot before, and I can’t remember what kind of sauce they put on their pizza… other than the fact I thought it was delicious! The good news is that, looking at this restaurant's menus, it seems as they have several tomato-free options that will be sure to please your husband, such as the Quattro Formaggi Pizza (white pizza, mozzarella, parmesan, fontina, provolone) or the Lasagne Verde (white lasagna, spinach, parmesan, ricotta, besciamella).

If you have any specific questions about ingredients or the way in which your food will be prepared, please be sure to ask your server any questions that you may have about the menu when you’re seated. He or she might be able to propose some menu alternatives or suggestions for your tomato-adverse husband!

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation… and that it didn’t make you as hungry as it has just made me!

    Have a Magical Day,
