Howdy, Tony! Thanks for stopping by to see us here at planDisney!
Hooray for
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground! It's one of my very favorite places to stay at the Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm so excited that you'll be there in less than a week! Let's help you get ready for your wilderness adventure!
Now, I know we're roughing it at "the Fort," but sometimes you've just gotta have a pizza, am I right? Fortunately, you've got a couple of options when that craving for a practically perfect pie hits. At the moment, there's no on-property pizza delivery service at Fort Wilderness, but you're free to order from an outside eatery that delivers to Walt Disney World Resort Guests. The delivery driver won't be allowed to deliver directly to your campsite or cabin, however, so you'll need to meet them at the front entrance. The restaurant will most likely let you know the procedure when you order, or you can ask a Cast Member at the Reception Outpost.
Another super easy option is to pick up a pizza from
P&J's Southern Takeout, located at Pioneer Hall right next to
Trail's End Restaurant. You can use
Mobile Ordering in your My Disney Experience app to order and pay for your pizza, then run over and pick it up to bring back to your campsite or cabin. My family does this every time we stay at the Fort, so I can say it's a really convenient way to get your pizza fix.
One more idea for your pizza-loving crew: Pick up a frozen pizza or two in the freezer cases at the
Meadow Trading Post or
Settlement Trading Post and throw it on the grill! Campsites and cabins are both equipped with outdoor grills, so you can pop that pizza on the fire and try something totally new.
Tony, I hope this helps you enjoy a pizza that's out of this "World"! Have a wild time in the wilderness, and please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
