Once you’ve purchased your Disney Pixie Dust Pass online, the system will immediately prompt you to link it to someone on your Family & Friends list in
My Disney Experience. This could be a family member, a friend, or, of course, your very own profile. Linking is important because it’s what allows your pass to show up properly in your account, and ensures that you’ll be able to make Theme Park Reservations right away.
After your pass has been linked, you’ll see it appear in the Tickets & Passes section of the My Disney Experience mobile app. That’s where all of your entitlements are stored digitally, so you’ll have easy access to view your Annual Pass alongside any other tickets you might hold.
One important thing to keep in mind, Robert, is that your Annual Pass will not activate the moment you purchase it online. Instead, activation happens the very first time you scan into a
Walt Disney World Theme Park. That means your official expiration date is tied not to your purchase date, but to your activation date, giving you some flexibility if you’re not planning to head into the parks immediately after buying.
