Hiya Cari, welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love helping Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
Isn't being an
Annual Passholder magical?! I love being able to visit Mickey and his pals over and over again, plus there are a bunch of great benefits and Special Offers reserved just for us - it's great!
Cari, if you renewed your Annual Pass into a new type of pass, the new pass (and all its benefits) will be active the day immediately after the last valid day of your current pass type. That means if you currently have a Disney Pixie Dust Pass, that's the pass you'll be using until its expiration date. At that time, your new Disney Incredi-Pass will then be active. If you would like to visit a Theme Park on a date that is currently blocked on your Disney Pixie Dust Pass, you will need to purchase a Theme Park Ticket for that day.
Another option you might want to consider is visiting Guest Relations to ask if there are any other ways to
upgrade your current Annual Pass for the remainder of its use year. While I'm not sure if this is possible because every Guests situation is unique, it doesn't hurt to ask. You can also ask at the
Disney Ticket Center located at Disney Springs!I hope this information is helpful as you continue your planning journey for your upcoming vacation. Please feel free to
stop by any time with more questions!
Oh, and if your adventures take you to Magic Kingdom Park, be sure to check out the newest thrill - TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise!See ya real soon!
