My pixie dust pass expires in May. How much does it cost to upgrade if I only want to go January 19? And can I buy a single day ticket for that day? And how much to add park hopper?

    Hello Shaylee,

Thank you for reaching out to planDisney! It’s always a pleasure to assist fellow Florida residents and Annual Passholders with their Disney World adventures.  I love that you are planning ahead for 2025!

Since you are planning a visit during the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, keep in mind that the holiday weekend are quite popular, and it's understandable that the Pirate Pass (the next tier pass above Pixie Dust Pass), has blockout dates. To ensure your visit on this special weekend, upgrading to the Sorcerer's Pass, which is currently $999 plus tax (with the Pixie Dust Pass at $439 plus tax), would be your next option. Remember, these prices are subject to change at any time.

Considering the occasion, opting for a single-day ticket might indeed be more cost-effective, however as ticket prices for January 2025 aren't available yet, I cannot provide you that pricing. Disney releases tickets several months in advance, so watching the official website will be key to planning your visit.

If you're thinking about maximizing your day with the Park Hopper option, keep in mind that pricing details for January 2025 will be available closer to your visit date. It’s a fantastic way to experience the magic across multiple parks in one day.

Here's a useful tip: Your visit coincides with a time when the Epcot International Festival of the Arts is typically in full swing. Although dates for 2025 haven't been announced, this festival is a celebration of visual, culinary, and performing arts from around the world, offering an extra layer of enjoyment to your Epcot visit. It's a wonderful opportunity to enjoy artful dishes, watch incredible artists create before your eyes, and perhaps catch a Broadway performance or two. It’s a must-see if you’re at Epcot during this period.

As you consider your options, whether upgrading your Annual Pass or planning a special day visit, remember that each choice leads to unique Disney experiences. If you have further questions or need more tips as you plan for January 19 or any other aspect of your Disney adventure, don’t hesitate to reach back out to us here at planDisney.

    Happy Planning,
