Hey there, Kennedy! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with such a great question!
Don't you just
love being a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder?! I know I do! Knowing that my next magical adventure is always just around the riverbend is priceless and truly brings joy and magic to my life. But with so many exciting changes on the horizon, sometimes the planning can feel as confusing as it is magical. That's what we at planDisney are here for, and I'm thrilled to help you plan your next visit and experience
your joy and magic!
Beginning January 9, 2024,
Theme Park Reservations will no longer be required for Guests with date-based theme park tickets to enter the parks. However, at this time, Theme Park Reservations are still required for Annual Passholders to enter the theme parks before 2:00 p.m. Annual Passholders
can enter the parks without a reservation after 2:00 p.m., except for Magic Kingdom Park on Saturdays or Sundays, when a reservation would still be required.
Annual Pass blockout dates will still apply, even after these Theme Park Reservation changes take effect on January 9th. Unfortunately, since the Disney Pixie Dust Pass is blocked out on the weekends, you will not be able to access the parks using your Annual Pass on the weekends or any other
blockout dates.
Kennedy, keep your eyes peeled for "Good-To-Go Days" for Annual Passholders! Beginning January 11, 2024, you will find some "good-to-go" days when Theme Park Reservations will
not be required for Annual Passholders to access the magic. You'll be able to find which days are "good-to-go" right on the home screen of your My Disney Experience app or the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar. It's magic time!
While this may not have been the answer you were hoping for, Kennedy, I
do have some great news for you! Beginning January 9th, you can park hop
any time during park hours. No more waiting! Happy hopping!
I hope this was helpful, Kennedy! Wishing you a year of joy and magic, my friend. Feel free to stop by any time with any questions you have.
You've got a friend in me,
Mandy
