Does Pixar Place in Disneyland offer bed rails? I am seeing mixed reviews and I am staying next month with a young child where I need them

Greetings, Hannah, and welcome to planDisney! You’re in for a dream stay at Pixar Place Hotel, where beloved films come to life and feelings of whimsy and magic linger well past bedtime. I stayed there last summer with my daughter, who had just turned three at the time, so I completely understand wanting to make sure your little one is snug and safe when it’s time to go to bed.

Hannah, while Pixar Place Hotel does not currently offer bed rails, you are more than welcome to bring your own portable option. Just keep in mind that the standard Queen and King mattresses are quite deep, so you’ll likely need a rail that extends. What worked well for our family was asking Guest Services for extra blankets and pillows, which we used to create a barrier under the fitted sheet. It helped keep our daughter cozy and secure. Some rooms include a Queen-size sleeper sofa, which sits a bit lower to the ground and might be a more toddler-friendly option. Depending on the design of your bed rail, it may even fit there. If your little one is still young enough, you can also request that a Pack ‘n Play be sent to your room.

Now for the fun before bedtime! The rooftop pool deck was a huge hit with my family. There’s a splash pad, pool, whirlpool, and even interactive games to help get the wiggles out before winding down. This is also where you can go on select nights to watch fireworks from Disneyland with a synchronized broadcast of the soundtrack. There should be fireworks on July 24, 2025 as part of the Wondrous Journeys show, as long as they aren't cancelled due to weather or other circumstances.

You’ll also want to check out Pixar Putt, a pop-up mini-golf experience at the hotel filled with imaginative holes themed to Pixar films. A discount may be available for hotel Guests. There are also plenty of other complimentary activities for hotel Guests, too, such as movie nights under the stars, drawing sessions, and hotel tours. Ask the front desk for a schedule when you check in.

And don't forget that, as a hotel Guest, you can access the special entrance into California Adventure, accessible just across the street from the hotel. You'll also receive the benefit of Early Entry each day you are checked in. Just keep in mind that reservations are required for each day you plan to enter a theme park.

Hannah, I hope you have the most wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort. There's an extra festive feeling in the air with it being the 70th Anniversary Celebration. Visit the Disney Parks Blog to get a taste of everything you can expect to enjoy. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
