Ahoy Kay and welcome to planDisney,
I love when fellow "mateys" stop by with questions for their
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! April is such a wonderful month to visit as the Florida heat is typically less intense and most children are still in school. Therefore, you should experience smaller crowds.
Now let's chat about one of my favorite topics - Pirates. I am a Pirates of the Caribbean junkie so we have "sailed away" on the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Dessert Voyage often and always had a great time. Unfortunately that cruise is not currently available through the
Enchanting Extras Collection, and there has not been an official announcement if or when it may be returning. The good news though, is there is a cruise option available that is just as amazing!
Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise is available on select Wednesday and Saturday evenings.
You begin the evening at the Transportation & Ticket Center where you will grab a refreshing beverage and meet your trusty captain. After boarding your seaworthy vessel, you will set off for a delightful cruise around the Seven Seas Lagoon where you will enjoy a selection of delicious desserts and beverages and of course, a prime viewing spot for
Disney Enchantment at
Magic Kingdom.
While you may not run in to Jack Sparrow or Captain Hook on this cruise, I am confident you will make plenty of treasurable memories! Remember the cruises do fill up fast, so
advance reservations are always recommended. I hope you will
stop back and see me if you have any additional planning questions.
Hope to see ya real soon,
Margaret
