Hi Rosa ~
Your family would love the
Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage! It sets sail from the Contemporary Resort which happens to be on the Resort Monorail line. And guess what? The Polynesian Village Resort is also on the Resort Monorail line so it would be super easy and an awesome surprise for your family.
Once the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage is over, you can take the Resort Monorail back to the Polynesian Village Resort.
There are 3 resorts along the Resort Monorail line:
* Disney's Contemporary Resort
* Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
* Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
Leaving the Polynesian Village Resort, the Resort Monorail makes stops in this order:
* Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
* Magic Kingdom
* Disney's Contemporary Resort
* Transportation & Ticket Center (TTC)
* Disney's Polynesian Resort
The Resort Monorail runs at least an hour after the Magic Kingdom closes. When you check in to the Polynesian Village Resort, be sure to pick up a
Times Guide for the Walt Disney World Resort. They will have them when you check-in and usually in several places in the lobby. This will give you all of the Theme Park Operating Hours, Monorail Schedules, Water Park Operating Hours, Miniature Golf Hours, Downtown Disney Area hours, and the hours for Disney's BoardWalk area during your visit. That will help you plan how much time you will have to explore the Contemporary Resort following your voyage before you need to head back.
Please feel free to keep the questions coming. We are thrilled to assist you!
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
