We are going on the Pirates & Pals fireworks cruise. I have gotten conflicting info about what time to arrive at the Contemporary? Our event is October 12th. Also, would it be silly of us to arrive dressed in pirate costume?

Yo Ho, Devone! Thanks so much for your question. I'm so excited to experience the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage this December with my son. We love catching the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular as many times as possible during our vacation, and I thought this would be a fun way to see a different view of the fireworks. We plan to dress up in our best pirate ensemble as well, so if you are silly then we are too! Actually, I've seen a lot of people visit The Pirates League before the fireworks voyage, so they are all decked out in pirate makeup and everything.

I suggest checking in at least an hour and a half before the scheduled fireworks start for the evening. I just checked, and it looks like October 12th is a Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, which means that the Happy HalloWishes fireworks will be showing at 10:00 p.m. If I were you, I would get to Disney's Contemporary Resort no later than 8:30 p.m. There will be some delicious snacks provided before you embark, so be sure to bring a bag of some sort as you can take snacks with you on the boat.

I hope you have a swashbuckling adventure on the high seas! Have a magical day.
