Would like to do Pirates and Pals cruise on Sept.18th. Would like to have dinner at Ohana at 5pm. Will we have enough time to get to the Contemporary to board? I am told we need to be there by 6:30. Afraid of cutting it too close. Love you guys!!

    Hi Elescia,

Disney Moms Margaret, Beth and I and our families had a wonderful voyage on a Pirates and Pals Cruise last August.  The pirate and his crew were hysterical, and our kids had a blast answering trivia questions and winning prizes as we made our way to an amazing viewing area for Wishes.  I'm guessing your family will have a fabulous time as well.

Ohana is a great choice for dinner, and one of my family's favorite table service restaurants.  Your timing is definitely a bit tight, but the Pirates and Pals experience starts with a "pre-party" at the Contemporary with snacks and photo opportunities with Captain Hook and his pals.  After guests have plenty of time to interact with the characters and enjoy some snacks, you then make your way to the docks as a group to board your pirate boat.  If you arrive at Ohana a few minutes early, eat quickly and don't mind missing a few minutes of the "land" portion of your Pirate and Pals evening, you should be fine.

    Have a magical evening!
