Ahoy there, Kimia, and welcome to planDisney! It looks like you’re preparing for a heroic adventure on the Disney Magic this January, so I’d be delighted to help you with this question.
Not only will you be starting the New Year with a Disney Cruise, it’s a
Marvel Day at Sea! These epic sailings don’t happen very often, so I’m thrilled you snagged a stateroom when it popped up on your radar. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a Pirate Night on this itinerary, but I did find the
Heroes Unite Deck Party scheduled on Night 2 of your trip. Not only will you get to celebrate with your favorite Super Heroes at sea, you’ll get to watch fireworks light up the night sky (assuming no Infinity Stones are used to mess with the timing or the weather). And for the most up-to-date activity schedules and theme night updates, I would refer daily to the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app while onboard.
I know that may not have been the answer you were hoping for, but rest assured, this vacation will be action-packed with activities you don’t typically find throughout the year. For example, your meet-and-greet opportunities will be epic! Keep your eye out for the likes of Spider-Man, Thor, Loki, Black Panther, and even Captain Marvel. You’ll also get to participate in even more trivia and costume fun (just make sure to follow
Disney’s Costume guidelines).
And since it looks like you’re already preparing your
packing list, I thought you might also be interested in knowing that your final dinner rotation, after a day at sea, is an optional Dress-Up Night. While any night is appropriate to stay “Cruise Casual”, this would be the perfect opportunity to pull out something a little fancier and snap some incredible family photos before dinner.
Your
4-Night Western Caribbean Cruise is sure to be epic, Kimia! I wish I were putting on my supersuit to sail away with you, but know that my
planDisney pals and I will be right here waiting should you have any more questions before your trip.
Bon voyage,
Sami
