Hello, Cheryl! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am excited along with you that you and your family will be celebrating your grandson's birthday and attending Mickey's Halloween Party!
The whole family is in for an amazingly fun time as you get to experience all the special
Halloween Time offerings at both parks this year. The best dress up option for boys at the parks would be one of the Knight packages at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. These packages include hairstyling, a sword, and a shield. If you opt for the Deluxe Knight Package, your grandson would also get a prince costume. Reservations are recommended and can be made up to 60 days in advance by calling (714) 781-7895.
Another option would be for him to get is face painted in the style of a calavera in the
Día de los Muertos area in Frontierland. This area also features traditional treats and decor in tribute to this Mexican celebration.
Or your son can simply don his complete costume for
Mickey's Halloween Party and get straight to trick-or-treating around Disneyland Park. You'll also want to make time to watch the Frightfully Fun Parade and the Halloween Screams Fireworks!
Please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you may have. I hope your special visit to the Disneyland Resort is full of goodies, ghouls, and grins!
