Hi Matthew,
Welcome to planDisney matey! Thanks for swinging by with your question about trying your hand at this interactive adventure.
A Pirate’s Adventure, Treasure of the Seven Seas requires all hands on deck to help Captain Jack Sparrow. Once you have entered Adventureland, head over to the Crow’s nest and pick up a talisman that is going to allow you to read a secret treasure map. Luckily there is no fee to pay for this adventure, and the missions have no time limit. So you can start them the next day if you aren’t able to complete them in one day. During my last experience, I spoke with the cast member and the interactions were stopped 30 minutes before closing of Adventureland. When you pick up your map, be sure to do so before 6 P.M. and I would ask the cast member if the times have been changed just to be sure. You can actually do one map or all five the day that you visit
Magic Kingdom Park. My family has done one of them, and our kids loved all of the animatronic interactions. They felt like true swashbuckling pirates each time they found another piece of the puzzle. It took about 30-40 minutes for us to complete the task. They usually take 20 minutes, but in true Jack fashion we made pit stops along the way that slowed us down.
If you folks are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel make sure you take advantage of all the benefit benefits available. For example, guest staying at any Disney resort can take advantage of early theme park entry. This allows you into the parks 30 minutes ahead of regular opening and gives you a head start on the day and all the popular attractions. Something new for 2025 is guest of any Disney Resort can visit a waterpark on their check-in day. Just drop your bags off with
Bell Services while your room is being prepared for you and visit a waterpark free of cost. Now that’s a way to make a big splash to start your vacation.
I hope this was the information you were looking for. If you have any other questions visit us again at
