Will there be a pirate themed party on the wonder cruise from Vancouver to san Diego sailing from February 26-March 2nd?

Greetings, Jamie, and welcome to planDisney! Pirate Night is a beloved tradition available on many Disney Cruise itineraries – I can totally see why you're interested in learning if it's on the schedule!

I have good news. The upcoming 4-Night Pacific Coast Cruise from Vancouver will have a Pirate Night! At the time of writing this, it's scheduled for Day 3, but please note that entertainment schedules and offerings are subject to change.

Pirate Night is a fun addition to any itinerary. As the day goes on, you'll notice more and more pirate hats, eye patches, and bandanas – dressing up is encouraged, but optional. After dark, excitement across the ship grows with themed activities, a special dinner menu, and a swashbuckling deck party. If weather conditions allow, you'll even be treated to fireworks!

This cruise also features an optional dress-up night on Day 2. This is the perfect opportunity to wear something more formal to dinner, especially if you want to have nice photos taken.

Now, I have to say, I'm so excited for you to experience the Disney Wonder. My kids' first-ever cruise was on this ship, and we made so many happy memories on it. Some of the highlights for us were Tiana's Place (a Main Dining restaurant exclusive to the Disney Wonder), each of the Broadway-style shows, the theming in the atrium, and the cozy size of the ship. As far as activities go, my planDisney pals would agree that silent disco and bingo are a blast!

As you are aware, this sailing is unique because it starts in Vancouver and ends in San Diego. You will need to arrange travel for the other half of the trip. Conveniently, there is an international airport in San Diego. If you want to keep the magic going, you could consider flying out of Orange County or Los Angeles and making a pitstop at The Happiest Place on Earth. It's about a two-hour train ride to Anaheim from San Diego. Or, that could be a fun destination for your next visit to Southern California!

Jamie, make sure you download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App before your cruise. Once you board the ship and connect to Wi-Fi, the app will populate with the most up-to-date entertainment and activity schedules, dining rotation details, and more. Plus, there is a fun animated countdown that shows how many days are left until embarkation day.

If you think of any other questions, Jamie, please reach out to us again – we're always happy to help here at planDisney. I hope you have a fantastic trip along the Pacific Coast!

    Happy sailing,
    Kriss
