Welcome aboard planDisney! You have quite an adventure planned
aboard the Disney Wish, sailing from Southampton to Spain, and I can certainly understand wanting to know whether you’ll get to trade your sea legs for some pirate swagger along the way!
It looks like there’s still some magic happening behind the scenes, and it’s a little too early to see the current theme night schedule for your sailing. Since you’re sailing in August 2027, I would estimate that the theme night plans won’t be available until after the new year, but could be sooner. Once we head into 2027, you can always come back to planDisney and we’d be happy to see if the schedule has been released. You can also
give Disney Cruise Line a call, and a friendly Cast Member can help you out as well.
Now, this will be the first time the Wish sails through Europe, so we don’t fully know what to expect. While I cannot make any guarantees, I am pretty confident that your sailing will include a Pirate Night and all the activities that come with it. However, due to local laws and regulations, I would not expect fireworks to be included. This is just my guess, but here’s what I think your theme night schedule could look like:
• Day 1 (Southampton) – Cruise Casual
• Day 2 (At Sea) – Optional Dress-Up Night
• Day 3 (La Coruña) –
Pirate Night• Day 4 (Bilbao) – Cruise Casual
• Day 5 (At Sea) – Cruise Casual
There is one little clue I like to use when trying to solve the Pirate Night mystery. When your
onboard activities booking window opens, take a look in the Onboard Fun section for the Pirate-Themed Makeover. If you see that offering on a particular day, there’s a good chance you’ve found your Pirate Night. It’s not a guarantee, but it can be a pretty good piece of treasure to find when you’re putting the clues together! Once you’re onboard, the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will have the final entertainment schedule, including the official theme night and activity times.
I hope this helps you chart a course toward Pirate Night while we wait for the official schedule to be revealed. With the Wish heading from Southampton toward Spain, this sailing already sounds like it has the makings of one swashbuckling European adventure!
