Can pirate pass members enter the park on blackout days after 2pm without a reservation?

    Ahoy there, Alysia!

Welcome to planDisney! It’s always a pleasure chatting with a fellow Floridian and Annual Passholder! As an AP myself, I’m always sailing through the fine print, so let me help you navigate this one with all the pixie dust and pirate charm!

The Disney Pirate Pass is full of perks, like being able to enter the parks after 2:00 PM without needing a park reservation most days, but there are some very important exceptions. If it’s a blockout date on your calendar, unfortunately, you won’t be able to enter at all, even after 2:00 PM. Those blackout days are usually during the busiest times of the year, like holidays or special events.

Also, Magic Kingdom is a little trickier. Even if it’s not a blockout day, Saturdays and Sundays still require a reservation for that park, even after 2:00 PM.

Your best first mate for planning? The Pirate Pass admission calendar. I check it all the time myself! It's the treasure map that keeps us from walking the plank when planning a park day!

So before you set sail, give that calendar a peek. And if it’s smooth sailing, go live your best post 2:00 PM magic life. Yo ho, yo ho, a passholder’s life for you!

Thanks again for stopping by, and please do come back to see us for any more planning tips or questions!
