Hi Monica, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! It’s always a pleasure to chat with a fellow Annual Passholder, so let’s chat about
parking during blockout dates.
While standard parking at the Disney World theme parks is included with an Annual Pass, it’s not valid for dates when your Pass is blocked out (according to the
Annual Pass Terms and Conditions). When I’m at Disney World on a day when I can’t get into the theme parks, I’ll usually book a dining reservation at one of the Disney resort hotels. You’ll get complimentary parking for a few hours while you enjoy your meal, and it’s always a magical experience without even setting foot into the parks! Recently, my family had dinner at
1900 Park Fare and had so much fun meeting Cinderella, Aladdin, Tiana, and Mirabel. Just keep in mind that you won’t be able to keep your car at the resort hotel all day, unless you’re an overnight guest.
Other fun things to do outside of the parks include heading to
Disney Springs or one of the water parks. My family could spend all day at Disney Springs eating and shopping. We also love all of the live entertainment (check the
calendar for what’s going on each day). And there’s complimentary parking!
The
water parks also have free parking, and it’s a great place to cool off during the warm spring break weather!
Annual Passholders can purchase specially priced 1-Day water park tickets, so it’s another option to consider when you can’t get into the theme parks.
Speaking of saving money, Disney World recently announced the return of V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days from May 1 to July 31, 2026! Keep an eye on the
Passholder Offers, Perks & More page on the Disney World website for more details soon.
I’m wishing you many magical visits to Disney World this year! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
JoAnna
